The Grammy Foundation Grant Program will award $16,420 of the $250,000 in 18 grants to the Encinitas, a California-based Ravi Shankar Foundation to help facilitate a range of research, archiving, and preservation projects on a variety of subjects.
This project will preserve, digitize, catalog, and provide access to historic live and studio recordings from two of the most prolific points in Ravi Shankar's career, greatly impacting scholarship and programming.
